FOUNDER, CEO Guy Genis
Guy founded Eventmakers in 1990, and has created thousands of events, meetings and conventions worldwide for corporate, entertainment and fashion industry clients including McDonald’s, ABC, CBS, NBC, Telemundo, Ernst &Young, Sony Computer Entertainment, and THQ, Inc. Mr. Genis’ 20 plus years of experience has positioned Eventmakers as one of the Top 50 special event companies in the world.
Prior to founding Eventmakers, Guy chartered and planned events on luxury yachts in partnership with Ritz-Carlton Hotels. He got his start in the entertainment industry as an actor, playing day-parts in shows such as Saved by the Bell, Cheers, Dear John, and Anything but Love.
Guy is a proud member of MPI (Meeting Planners International) and ISES (International Special Events Society).
VICE PRESIDENT, CFO Mark Genis
Mark began working with twin brother Guy at Eventmakers in 1994. Mark has been integral in growing the company into a thriving venture, and specifically in building the McDonald’s account into a trusted relationship that has lasted for years and still continues to grow.
Prior to joining Eventmakers, Mark owned the patent for and manufactured the Thermosport hot and cold therapy wrap for sports injuries. Mark holds a bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Southern California.
